ORGANISTS AND PIANISTS WANTED
There seems to be a national shortage of organists and pianists especially those who are willing to dedicate their time on a Sunday to play for worship. On two occasions the writer has been required to play at two services at different churches with zero time to get from one to the other. If you are a reasonably gifted pianist, you can learn to play the organ to a standard quite acceptable for normal worship. Even if you do not feel confident to do this for some reason, a good pianist is always acceptable in preference to nothing at all.
