"There is no doubt in my mind that this plaque represents a unique achievement for a small school such as ours.� It is a good example of a project being undertaken with an �artist in residence� and has involved not only staff, children, and their parents but also others from the wider community.

�Thanks are due to many people but above all to Dorothy for her persistence when the going got tough,� her inspiration, her enthusiasm with the children and undoubted skill and excellence in her own field of sculpture.
