We have tried to bring you the results of the local competition in a similar way to the national and regional awards.  The very best of the entrants all receive gold certificates but one is chosen to receive the cup.  We have to be honest, the amount of care and time and work put into the majority of private gardens and business premises in 2005 has never been so good.  The judges felt it was almost impossible that we should ask them to choose between the gold award winners to give one in each category the appropriate cup.  Whether you have toiled in your garden, planted the odd hanging basket or just picked up the phone and ordered your requirements, give yourselves a pat on the back.  So many of you have excelled yourselves this year we say a very big thank you.
